Osteoporosis Support Group

We discuss the evaluation, prevention, and treatment of osteoporosis. Subjects covered include diet, exercise, vitamins, calcium, medications, “complementary” and “integrative” medicine. Educational information will be presented by experts, and tips will be shared by those who have personal experience with osteoporosis. You will hear how others have learned to cope with disability and pain from osteoporotic fractures. You will have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and ask all the questions you always wanted to ask, in a friendly informal setting.

Osteoporosis Support Group Meetings

We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership between the Osteoporosis Foundation of New Mexico and OsteoBoston to bring you monthly virtual support group meetings!

Starting this January, we’ll be hosting Osteoporosis Support Group meetings on Zoom on the first Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise notified. This collaboration allows us to connect more people nationwide, offering education, support, and expert insights on managing and preventing osteoporosis.

Before each meeting, we’ll send out an email RSVP, and we’ll also do our best to post the Zoom link on this page.

Stay tuned for details on upcoming meetings—we look forward to learning and growing together!
