President’s Message
The Osteoporosis Foundation of New Mexico is dedicated to improving the bone health of New Mexicans through osteoporosis education and research. Despite the availability of tests to diagnose osteoporosis and many treatments to reduce the risk of breaking bones, osteoporosis remains a disease that is under-diagnosed and under-treated. You can help by learning more about osteoporosis and participating in osteoporosis educational events. Be an advocate for bone health by telling others what you have learned. Please consider making a donation to the foundation to help support its mission.
E. Michael Lewiecki, MD
